As the warm breezes of summer fade away the memory of twenty performances for more than 2500 people at sites throughout the city remains vividly clear. Free performances by Circuit Productions were presented with the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, the Museum of the City of New York, Brooklyn Public Library, Central Park’s Harlem Meer Performance Series and the YMCA of Greater New York. We begin the Fall with some exciting programs.

Special program for toddlers and their families
Puppeteer, Theresa Linnihan presents Witch Bungle- a puppet show in verse. “Bungle” is a creative witch who always ruins her own spells! Consequently, she cooks up dragons who lisp and bashful giants. Meanwhile gentle goblins and a crowd of “misfits” hide in all her closets to the disapproval of other witches. Linnihan’s original fable delights young audiences with the use of shadow puppets and an illustrated “cranky” – a special puppetry tool. Read more

Broadway veteran and choreographer, Teddy Williams will give a dance workshop to adults and seniors on November 1st at Bay Ridge Library. Join Williams, as he takes you through the moves and grooves of one of Broadway’s most beloved musicals, The Wiz. Cookie's Harlem - A Tap Dancer's World, is a collection from the legendary tap stylist Charlie "Cookie" Cook. The exhibit preserves a vibrant moment in the history of jazz and lends itself to adaptation to specific sites.
